Cancellations made 60 days or more before the workshop start date: Full refund, less a $50 processing fee.

Cancellations made 30-60 days before the workshop start date: 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before the workshop start date: No refund.

1.2. No-Show Policy

Participants who do not attend the workshop without prior cancellation will forfeit their registration fee.

1.3. Substitution Policy

If unable to attend, participants may nominate a substitute in their place at no additional cost, provided notification is received at least 5 days before the workshop start date.

2. Workshop Organizer Cancellation or Postponement

2.1. Cancellation by Organizers

If a workshop class size does not reach the minimum of 4 students by April 9th 2025, that workshop will be cancelled and registered students will be refunded by the organizers.

In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by the organizers, all registered participants will receive a full refund of registration fees. The organizers are not responsible for non-refundable travel expenses, accommodations, or other costs incurred by participants.

2.2. Postponement

If the workshop is postponed, participants will have the option to transfer their registration to the new date, or request a full refund of the registration fee.

3. Force Majeure

The organizers are not liable for cancellation or postponement due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, political unrest, or public health emergencies. In such cases, participants will be offered either a partial refund (less non-recoverable costs) or the option to attend a rescheduled event.

4. Travel Considerations

Participants are encouraged to purchase refundable travel and accommodation options or appropriate travel insurance to mitigate risks of unforeseen cancellations or changes.

This policy ensures fairness and flexibility for both participants and organizers while acknowledging the unique challenges of hosting workshops in mountain locations.

5. Equipment

Organizers regularly maintain all workshop equipment, but cannot guarantee that there will be no failure of operation of heat, electrical, plumbing, kilns or otherwise at the studio.  Should this arise, there will be no discounts offered, however organizers will make every reasonable effort to make the repairs as quickly as possible to make your workshop experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
